Margaret Okorodudu-Fubara

A Professor of Environmental Law, Margaret Okorodudu-Fubara got her LL.B degree from the University of Lagos in 1972. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1973 before embarking on postgraduate studies at the University of London and Havard Law School. Margaret has been at the forefront of environmental law, both in consultancy and university roles, becoming Nigeria’s first female Professor of Law.

On the international front, she has held consultancy roles for the United Nations Environment Programme in Kenya, joining hands with other industry professionals to prepare a Draft Manual on the UNEP Guidelines on Compliance with and Enforcement of Multilateral Environmental Agreements.

Margaret is a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and an Associate Member of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law. She is also a member of the National Universities Commission of Nigeria and a Professorial Chair of the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

Misbau Alamu Lateef

Misbau Alamu Lateef is a teacher, researcher and consultant with several years of experience as a legal practitioner. He got his LL.B and Masters of Philosophy Degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University and an LLM from the University of Lagos.

Misbau has several years of corporate legal experience, rising through the ranks to become a Partner in one of Lagos’ finest law firms. He has recently concluded his Doctoral programme on Corporate Governance and ancillary subjects at Obafemi Awolowo University.

In addition to his research and academic qualifications, Misbau’s expertise includes Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (A.D.R), International Trade and Foreign Investment, and company secretarial services.
